So, to say the least, I have been lagging on keeping my blog up to date. I mean my rough life of going to the beach, going to movies, laying around the house, EATING, and much more laziness has just taken up so much energy, I can't do anything else. But I am finally back to show you a little of what I've been up to. I've made alot of my favorite double chocolate chip cookies, espresso-cinnamon and normal chocolate chip cookies. I also made a coconut cream pie from a Southern Living magazine my mom brought back from my grandmama's house in Mississippi, I made strawberry almond and coconut muffins, I made a banana cream pie from Joy the Baker, my nana's applesauce cake amazing bars from Giada DeLaurentiis, and ginger blondies from Martha Stewart. I'm sure I made other things the I neglected to take pictures of or was just way too lazy to make look pretty. I think that my favorite was Giada's bars. The recipe is really simple and easy to follow. But true to chub style I was too excited and sort of made a mess; they were scrumptious all the same. On bottom a layer of graham cracker crust (my favorite) then a layer of caramal and topped with a layer of smooth dark chocolate. 3 of my favorite things all combined. It was gone the next day. nuff said.

I also made this massive chocolate cake for my mom's birthday on June 23th. The cake was a little dry for me, and I tried a different frosting than we usually use on this cake. It was dark chocolate
icingmore than frosting.
I liked the icing, but others like the original recipe better. We agreed to disagree.

MMMMMMMM. Coconut cream pie. This was delishhhh. But I pretty much love everything coconut so I may be a little biased. But it was soooo easy and so delicious. Oh my goodness, you should make this right now!

My muffins. They were pretty good, a little busy next time I might switch out the strawberries with raspberries, but still pretty good.
well, more later, back to EATTTTTIIINGGG.

PEACE OUT.
